To ensure your stay is as pleasant and safe as possible, we ask you to respect the house rules outlined below.
1. Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: Before 12:00 PM
Exceptions are possible with prior approval, if desired and feasible.
Please ensure you leave the holiday home in good condition and take all personal belongings with you when checking out.
2. Maximum Number of Guests:
The holiday home accommodates a maximum of 10 people, including children.
3. Pets:
Pets are not allowed. We understand pets are important to many, but due to allergies and cleaning reasons, we cannot allow them.
4. No Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the holiday home. Smoking is allowed outside, but please extinguish and dispose of cigarette butts carefully. Never discard cigarette butts on the premises or elsewhere, due to extreme fire risk in the Alentejo region.
5. Noise:
Please respect our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after 10:00 PM.
6. Parties and Events:
Parties or events are not allowed in the holiday home unless previously approved by the owner. We aim to maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment for all.
7. Safety:
Always lock all doors and windows when leaving the holiday home.
Follow all safety instructions and use appliances and equipment correctly.
Fire hazard: Ensure all appliances (such as the stove, heating, etc.) are turned off when leaving the house.
8. Swimming in the Reservoir:
Swimming in the reservoir is prohibited. The water is not suitable for recreational swimming, and it can be dangerous due to depth and slope.
9. Electricity and Sustainability:
The holiday home’s electricity is fully generated by solar panels. To optimise energy use, we kindly ask you not to use heavy appliances (such as a hairdryer, electric oven, microwave, etc.) simultaneously. This prevents overloading the system and helps maintain energy balance.
10. Water Usage:
The water at the holiday home comes from a borehole. As water is a scarce resource in the region, we kindly but firmly ask you to use water sparingly. Use water only when necessary and avoid wastage, for example, by taking short showers and ensuring taps are properly closed when not in use. Your cooperation helps us manage water consumption sustainably and respect the environment.
11. Cleaning and Waste:
Keep the holiday home clean and tidy during your stay. A final cleaning will be carried out after your departure, but we ask you to leave the house in a good and orderly condition, with the dishes done.
Dispose of waste in the designated bins. If recycling is available, please use it to help protect the environment.
12. Security Cameras:
To ensure the safety of the holiday home, a security camera is present, but not inside the house.
13. Damages:
If there is any damage to the holiday home during your stay, please report it immediately. We rely on fair compensation for any damage caused during your stay.
14. Prohibited Behaviour:
Illegal activities of any kind are prohibited in the holiday home.
We reserve the right to ask guests who do not comply with the house rules to leave the house immediately.
15. Responsibility:
If you have children, please ensure their safety and supervision, especially near water or other potentially hazardous areas on the property.
